8 ways of Accessorizing Outfits | Edge up your Look | Isha Aggarwal

Hi Guys!

Accessories, in my opinion, are the most underrated things in our wardrobe. But when put to good use, they can change the look and feel of the entire outfit. They add elements like a pop of colour, dimension,  modern/retro feel to name a few that take your outfit to a 10/10.

WATCH THIS ON YOUTUBE HERE https://youtu.be/-kj5plfm9PY

1. Bow Clip

Bows have become a trend these days and instantly give the outfit a retro feel. They look super cute when paired with a relatively simple outfit, and at the same time are very feminine. You can use them on half ties, man buns or just on your ponytails.

2. Waist Belt

When it comes to flaunting your figure and sinching it, a belt is the best companion. You can go with a broad or a narrow one, depending on what you are wearing. They instantly give a flow to your dress/ shirt like you can see below and make your outfit look well fitted.

3. Earrings

Okay, I know this is not anything new and we all are so aware of it, but guys, let's take a minute to see how gorgeous they can make you look. They add the right pop of colour to the most most basic outfit below and make you stand out from the crowd instantly.

4. (Silk) Scarf

This needs no introduction. It has always been used as an accessory, but the ways in which it can be styled have evolved. One of the ways is just folding it plainly in a rectangular form and when you reach the right breadth, just tie it around your neck. It looks so chic, you can't beat it.

5. Pretty Sling Bag

Don't underestimate how a bag can change the look of the outfit. You can even add colour to your outfit just with your bag. I am carrying this Unicorn sling and it has all the pastel colours with silver background going. If you don't believe me in how stylish this makes you look, just compare the look without it.

6. Sunglasses - Not the Usual Way

Honestly, sunglasses don't suit me very much but I still like having them. So one of the ways of using them is just wearing them on your head. As a result - your hair looks set, and you look cool. Can you ask for more? ;)

7. Choker

No matter how common it becomes, I ll always love chokers. Especially the kind of ones you get nowadays, they have gone to a whole new level. Just wear a big oxidized choker with little hangings on them and it looks super classy.

8. Passa/ Earrings on Shirt

This is so my style, using things the unconventional way. Just hang your favourite piece of jewelry like passa/jhoomar/earrings on your shirt like I have and look super stylish in the easiest way possible.

I really hope these were helpful. So yes, that is it.

See you soon.

Love,
Isha

Tips and Tricks to make Casual Outfits look Stylish

Hey all!

Wearing the same casual outfits in cliched ways can become monotonous after some time. So in this post, I will be sharing with you how I like to add a stylish touch to a plain white shirt -denim outfit and make it look off-beat. Hope you like it :)

Tucking jhoomar/passa/pop colour earrings
Tuck any one of these, above the first button of the shirt with the help of a safety pin and they will add a dimension to your outfit no traditional form of wearing accessories can, taking the accessory game up a notch.

Chunky jewelry to the rescue
White complements silver chunky jewelry, especially huge bohemian neck pieces that are in vogue. White shirt , light blue denims, silver neck piece are my go to combo and you can never go wrong with it.

Wearing a dupatta/stole as jacket
Take a stole/bright coloured dupatta and 2 safety-pins. Place the dupatta around your neck in inverted U shape. Take one end of the dupatta from under your arms and pin it at the shoulder (or on the dupatta itself). Repeat on the other side. And you have your own DIY dupatta jacket ready.

Making a side pony and wrapping with a bright coloured scarf
This idea would go well with all the pony lovers. Just make a side pony and tie a quirky bright coloured scarf around. It will instantly pull the look up the charts and will look really summery.

College Fest Outfit Ideas - Lookbook

Hey guys! University fests are round the corner and I legit know how much we DUites look forward to them! So I have compiled three outfit ideas for the fest season for you all! Hope you like it!

Look 1-  DAY OUTFIT

Day outfits for me are casual outfits but that doesn't mean they have to be too mainstream. I have decided to go with this little baggy full sleeves crop top paired with palazzo. The colours ,though deep and pretty, would go well with the sunny afternoons here in Delhi. Put on a comfortable pair of chappals/ sandals and you are ready to rock the day! And yes, don't forget your shades.

Top- Bangkok; Footwear- Aldo

Look 2- EVENING OUTFIT

A little bit of bling never hurt anybody. Blings are so in this season, especially during the night. I have put on this spaghetti sequin top layered with a warm shrug. Below I am wearing plain black jeggings. You can wear denim jeans or even a skater skirt with this. Also, whenever you wish to wear your boots in warmer weather yet don't want to sweat in them, try the technique i use-wear ankle length socks. You feet won't sweat or smell.

Shrug- Marks & Spencers; Jeggings- Zara; Boots- Metro Shoes

Look 3- DAY/EVENING OUTFIT

This one is for all the lazy bones out there. If you want to look classy yet don't want to dress up much, just put on a simple plaid shirt dress and viola-you are done! Put any simple footwear, i am wearing black gladiators. And that's pretty much it.

Dress- Sarojini; Footwear- Aldo

Three Different Winter Outfits

Hey guys! Hope you all are having a super new year! This is my first post and I am going to be showing you three very different outfits and how to style them in winters. Hope you like it! :)

 Look 1

Long skirts can appear off season during winters. However styling them well  gives an ethnic vibe that looks beautiful always.

I have paired my gold and pink printed long skirt with a plain black top. The dark print with a subtle pop of colour doesn't make it look spring like and is soothing to the eyes. These pom pom earring keep the outfit from looking too plain or dull. I am also wearing a warmer under my skirt to beat the cold outside. Wear your black boots and you are ready to go!

QUICK TIP- you can also wear a solid colour small round bindi to set your whole attire in place.

Top- Madame ; Skirt- Sarojini Nagar; Boots-Metro

 Look 2

Velvet is all over this season. This silver sweater makes a casual outfit stand out, while being comfy at the same time. Pair it with plain black jeggings and basic colour leg warmers to make it look more classy. Higher than ankle boots always make the leg warmers look super chic. Add a pop of colour with a plum lipstick which is perfect for fall season.

QUICK TIP- Open hair + Sweater + winters= Perfect winter combination
Sweater- Bangkok; Jeggings-Zara; Boots- Metro Shoes; Leg warmers-local market

 Look 3

Fishnets are the rage now,so I definitely could not have missed on them. This look is one of my favourites because its sporty in a classy way! Casual yet dainty! I am just wearing a black bodycon dress, with a leather jacket on the top! And to complete the look, I have my favourite nude ankle length sneakers on! For accessories, I went for simple pineapple tops.

QUICK TIP-Wear a beanie and it will look super cute.
Jacket- Vero Moda; Dress- Elle; Shoes-Vansons
